I have created a few rubrics for homework, but have found that I am not happy with them. The rubrics are mostly useful when grading word problems solved by students. When you are grading problems that have a single answer, usually a check or a comment is useful for the student to reflect on. Otherwise, reserving a small amount of time during the week to review the homework after it has been reviewed by you may help the students see their errors avoid further confusion.
