You're right, it doesn't make a huge difference to me. But as "my tribe" gets more obviously energized and controlling over various assets, I can see a lot of the same patterns, of talking about money when it's really about power, or mostly about a lack of power, i.e. there's always some "mafia" out there that seems hell bent on staying the course (whatever the course).
I just wonder how much of your outrage is clearly targeted and based on legitimate concerns, and how much is based in a sense of "other people" not doing what you'd like to see done in great detail. Because the truth is, there're always more of "them" (everyone else) than there are of "you" (a lone individual).
But then I remember you champion your "protected" NY schools, so I guess it really is possible to satisfy you on some level. Stay tuned then. Maybe "we" will do a better job by your reckoning.
