Lee, the pyramid gangways and chambers are deliberately out of the center, for example the gangway of the Red Pyramid is four meters to the east, measured from the middle of the northern face. I hope you got reliable numbers to work with. A lot of authors are sloppy when it comes to pyramid measurements, even Mark Lehner. I rely mainly on this book: Rainer Stadelmann, Die ägyptischen Pyramiden, Vom Ziegelbau zum Weltwunder, 3., aktualisierte und erweiterte Auflage, Philipp von Zabern, Main 1997. Building hypotheses on wrong numbers and measurements will end in frustration.
