Well I just did that search and the first page consists mainly of pages that have nothing to do with you, but the second hit is this thread in Google Groups. Pretty impressive.
Then I did a search on the string "normed algebra proof" (no quotes), which was part of the title of a thread I started on sci.math earlier. And the thread in question was ... the first hit. Kind of makes your second hit look a bit lame by comparison, doesn't it? I also tried doing a search on the string "smallest C*-algebra" (again, no quotes) which was part of the body of my article. This time it was the fourth hit.
Heck, just for laughs I did a search on the string "nips, sex teacher" which is part of one of the many spam postings which are all over sci.math. Guess what: the first hit was the relevant thread in Google Groups.

Great. Given your understanding of the internet, can you explain the results of the experiment I just performed? I must confess that I'm stumped as to what the point was supposed to be.
