We graded our 8th grade tests today and I was very frustrated with questions 42 and 43. We had MANY students who could have had perfect papers but we had to take a point off because on 42 they didn't have parentheses and/or on 43 because they drew a line segment instead of a ray. The 8th grade teachers were also frustrated by the excessive amount of supplementary angle questions and the repetitive questions. My suggestion to them (and any of you who are upset) is to go to the website listed at the back of the teacher directions and make your feelings known about the test AND the scoring rubric.
