Shit. There is MORE THAN ONE mathematics newsgroup in the German language. This one in America has become so degraded that what few serious scholars still read it treat it as idle amusement, not something to try to get anybody fired about. WM has NOT been posting this stuff in any forum that anybody CARES about (in German).

Books ABOUT mathematics are NOT likely to be respected by MATHEMATICIANS. He would NEED to write a book WITH SOME MATH in it AS OPPOSED to a book "about" mathematics, in order to be relevant.
