You are in my past, Spirit. Sitting at a table with me, I would see you as are you were a few nanoseconds ago. The moon... about 1.3 seconds in the past. Sun, more than 8 minutes and the Andromeda Galaxy -- about 2.5 million years.
"Now" is pretty much meaningless.
The scientific community does not think observations of the universe contradict SR, in fact there are NOT ANY observations that contradict predictions of relativity. Only in YOUR mind are there contradictions and I would dearly love to help you past you impasse.
