Correction: Subject title

Hi All:

I read today's NYT front page article about test scores.

My take away in terms of the NYS Regents, the way the tests "are made" will remain the same (so they'll still be predictable),

but the scores needed to pass will increase.

What's your read on it?

By the way, within reason, I think there's nothing wrong with having past Regents inform us as to what to teach?

In the extreme, does it make sense to teach students something and then 'trick' them by testing them on something else?

Care to comment?

Thanks,

Rob
