my method doesn't work neither the method shown of using c2d command.

i tried using a simple transfer function of..

1 / (s + 1) and if manually calculate by substituting z^-1 = 1 - sT....i should get,

0.1 / (1.1 - z^-1)

but i get weird answers using matlab...
