Neither do I. Neglecting the fourth and higher powers of
(gamma).cos(phi) for some physical reason which I don't understand, it
seems that (19-a) ought to be

alpha_I = (4/sqrt(2.pi)).gamma.cos(phi)
+ (1/sqrt(2.pi))(8/(3.pi) - 2/3)((gamma.cos(phi))^3).

Is that what you get?
