Hi Badri,

I am also interested in a similar field as yours. I was wondering if you wold be able to guide me in a few aspects about how to find realistic parameters of the different components of the electrical system. I am having difficulties in finding the parameter for the model blocks available on Matlab simulink. The parameters would be of synchronous machines, induction machines, transformers, line parameters for different power levels.

Some of the parameters which I am after are such as for various power ranges their effective resistances and impedances, also there mutual resistance and reactance in case of a transformer. In case of machines again for various power ranges and pole pair designs their rotor, stator individual and mutual resistance and inductances(Xd, Xd’,Xd’’,Xq.Xq’,Xq’’), time constants (td’,td’’,tq’’)inertia, friction factor.

I was wondering if you had any sort of references or tables regarding these parameters. Also if you had a schematic of all the components of power system design of any area with the different power levels of an area, it would be great. As what I have searched so far, the information are scarce. It would be of great help to me if you would be able to provide me some of these information.
