Hi Ann and others who interpreted my post as disruptive,
I am sorry you took my post as trolling. I am a retired math/special education teacher who has been part of this group for a number of years. I neglected to sign it, as I usually do, as I was distracted. Since our e-mail address appears in the post, Many people know who sent it anyway :-). I also neglected to mention when I received this e-mail last week, I remembered receiving it "a while back for a different month," so I checked snopes. They have several different ways to analyze the statement. This was not my analysis.

I think we may have a troll on the list.
Urban Dictionary: troll One who posts a deliberately provocative message to a newsgroup or message board with the intention of causing maximum disruption and argument.
