There is no last line, so the diagonal is not finished. Therefore everything of the diaginal that can be there, is also in a line, if necessary in the next line. There is no last line.
You can talk about "all", or about "no last" yet "finished" or what ever you like. But in the following sequence

with Bottom(n) = Diagonal(n) you cannot conjure a Diagonal(oo) that is longer than Bottom(oo) unless your audience consists of fools.
