Franz,
A northern Canary Island 270-lunar calendar is reported in black and red colors per:

As a proposal, had Phoenican sailors and others traveled the latitude that connects the Canary Islands to Mesoamerica, the Mayan 405-lunar calendar that also used red and black colors may one day be connected to the Canary Islands use of the same colors to report a closely related lunar calendar.
