I am using SPlus and I have a simple vector. I would like to summarise
this data by calculating the frequency of data items. The resulting
two dimension vector/frame, I would like to store in my data frame. Is
there is a simple way to do this?

I am struggling with this and I have checked the help file and google
and I have not found the answer. Can you please point me in the right
direction?

Input = 1,1,1,2,3,3,3,4,5,6,7,7,7,7,7
Output =

Value Frequency
----------------------------------
1 2
2 1
3 3
4 1
5 1
6 1
7 5
