Announcing the launching of a new journal, the
Research Journal of Mathematics and Technology
(RJMT)

What is RJMT?

The Research Journal of Mathematics and
Technology, with ISSN of 2163-0380
(<http://rjmt.mathandtech.org>http://rjmt.mathandtech.org),
is a printed version of selected articles from
the Electronic Journal of Mathematics and
Technology
(eJMT:<https://php.radford.edu/~ejmt/>https://php.radford.edu/~ejmt/).
It will be published semi-annually in June and
December of each year. We will deliver the first
issue in June 2012. Its aims and scope, areas of
interest, and submission guidelines are identical
to those of eJMT.

Why RJMT?

The purpose of this journal is to provide for
those readers who would like to read articles in
print rather than online. Therefore, RJMT is to
complement and enhance the needs of eJMT, where
we encourage readers to experiment and discover
mathematics when supplementary electronic files
are available.

eJMT is now a free journal.

With support from the communities of the Asian
Technology Conference in Mathematics (ATCM,
<http://atcm.mathandtech.org>http://atcm.mathandtech.org),
Radford University and other institutions around
the world, we are pleased to announce that eJMT
is now a free journal for up to five years
starting from February 2012. Thanks to all
editors and reviewers for their unrelenting
efforts to eJMT, we have delivered 12,075 papers
to 4,403 unique IP addresses since its inception
of February 2007.

· eJMT, an international refereed journal, will
address technology-based issues in all
Mathematical Sciences.
· eJMT will deal primarily, but not exclusively,
with the use of technologies in mathematics and
mathematics education research, pedagogy, and
mathematics applications.
· eJMT will communicate the most recent
applications of technology in pure and applied
mathematics and in electronic format, including
video and sound.
· eJMT will publish the source code of programs
together with submitted papers electronically, so
readers can actually continue experiments.

Areas of interest are as follows:

Trend 1: Research in Mathematics and its
Applications and Mathematics Education with
Technology

Trend 2: Instruction in Mathematics and its Applications with Technology

Trend 3: Learning in Mathematics and its
Applications and Mathematics Education with
Technology

Trend 4: Newly Emerging Technologies and Mathematical Fields

All articles published in RJMT must be
peer-reviewed by the editorial process of eJMT
and published in eJMT first. The selection
process will be determined by the editorial board.

We would like to thank Beijing Normal University,
China and Radford University, USA for making RJMT
available.
