I wasn't worried in the least. It all comes from the context, in which I was trying to give some cover to Robert Hansen's assertion that "R & C are different sets" (which in context I interpreted to mean, I think correctly, "disjoint") Personally, I think in 99.99% of mathematical contexts we would naturally see it as R contained in C.

Paul pounced on it as a way to "prove me wrong". But he didn't understand the context, the subtleties, or anything.

Its all about Paul. And it is time to move on.
