I have used Mathematics with Business Applications from Glencoe. I have taught a "consumer math" course for several years. We have included the MoneySkill program (through M&T Bank and University of Buffalo) and a computer component the last two years.

Topics include Gross Income (we look at the various ways to be paid -- hourly, salary, commission, overtime), Net Income, Recordkeeping, Checking and Savings accounts, Charge Accounts, Loans (we focus on the interest in paying off credit cards or paying back loans), Purchasing a Vehicle. This has been well received by students
