I have used Mathematics with Business Applications from Glencoe. I have taught a "consumer math" course for several years. We have included the MoneySkill program (through M&T Bank and University of Buffalo) and a computer component the last two years.
Topics include Gross Income (we look at the various ways to be paid hourly, salary, commission, overtime), Net Income, Recordkeeping, Checking and Savings accounts, Charge Accounts, Loans (we focus on the interest in paying off credit cards or paying back loans), Purchasing a Vehicle. This has been well received by students
