Dear 1tree: Counter to my normal rule, I glanced at your Vis+viva link. Such is a laughable repeat of the status quo GARBAGE that I have so easily disproved and explained to you ad nauseum. Why is it that you consider finding a repeat of errant science as a refutation of TRUE science? Don't you understand that the Law of the Conservation of Energy-Mass is a CONTROLLING law in the Universe? Apparently not!
It is laughable that those many idiots you like to cite ascribe an errant formula, KE = 1/2 mv^2, to the 'energy' of a falling or down- swinging steel ball, and then make the ridiculous assertion that having an equal size and mass steel ball "bounce" to a matching height must prove the God Damned formula. It doesn't! The only thing the swinging ball proves is "energy IN must equal energy OUT"! The latter has always been a Law of Nature. You can't use a Law of Nature to support some ERRANT equation!!!!! If the equation had been my PROVEN KE = a/g (m) + v/32.174 (m), then the equation would have been additive on both the downswing and on the upswing, and would have been true science. Learn this: NO ENERGY EQUATION CAN EVER BE OTHER THAN ADDITIVE. Einstein, the MORON, lucked up when he made his GRT equations additive.
