Whether the intercept is coordinates or not is not the point. The equation that was to be solved did not contain y, it was an equation only in x. Therefore the answers are only x.

Well, I guess that from now on, whatever somebody says on the internet will determine our definitions. It will be nitpicking to insist on knowledge of definitions. What then will we teach?
