Good question. Koobee is not alone in this.... I do not know what it is about relativity that attracts so many kooks and idiots, compared to, say, quantum or solid-state physics.
Around here (sci.physics.relativity), these attributes of people are HIGHLY correlated: * people who repeatedly demonstrate an inability to read accurately. * people who repeatedly demonstrate a gross lack of knowledge about the experimental record. * people who repeatedly demonstrate they do not understand what science actually is. * people who display major errors in their knowledge about the history of science. * people who claim to have found an error in Special Relativity. * people who claim to have their own "better" theory. * people who are abusive to others.
