In more generic terms:

How can we check if one variable has a value that exists in another variable in real-time, given that each variable changes its value with time.

I've tried writing to workspace, but unfortunately I can't access the data during the simulation. I tried using functions like 'ismember' and 'intersect' in an embedded matlab function but i'm struggling at making the differnt variables talk to each other smoothly, I'm sure it's a data fromatting issue, but unfortuantely haven't made it to work yet.

Many thanks.
