Is anyone interested in discussing "why there aren't standards in education research" or could we change the subject to "is it possible to make the public aware that there aren't any standards in education research"

The general public could easily agree that real research has a sound study design, and any purported results should be able to be replicated by others.

Parents are very much aware of "research supports...blah, blah, blah" accompanying each new initiative that their children are subjected to... and I think many would appreciate input from the scientific community on these claims.

(sorry this doesn't follow the usual string here, but the way this website works annoys me)
