The mistake in expression (1)

the number of valid n between (p_n-1)^2 and (p_n)^2 = integer value of
1/2 . 1/3 . 3/5 ..... ((p_n) - 2)/(p_n) times [(p_n)^2 - (p_n-1)^2 - 3],

...depends on it seeming to make an assertion about the number of multiples of each prime as a fraction of the number of integers within the given range?

I believe you, of course. Just trying to get this clear in my mind.
