% help rank % % rank Matrix rank. % rank(A) provides an estimate of the number of linearly % independent rows or columns of a matrix A. >>A1= round(rand(1,5)) A2 = 1A1 A = [ A1 ; A2 ] rankA = rank(A)
A1 = 1 0 1 1 0 A2 = 0 1 0 0 1 A = 1 0 1 1 0 0 1 0 0 1 rankA = 2
Why isn't rankA = 1?
Greg
