would it be possible to use the first approach you proposed with dblquad, accounting for k2 and k3 at the same time?

I mean doing

for i = 2:numel(k1)

phi_33 = @(k2, k3) E_k0./((4*pi.*k.^4)).*(k1(i).^2 + k2.^2);

PHI_33(i) = quad(phi_33,k2(i-1),k2(i),k3(i-1),k3(i));

Like this should it be possible to overcome the issue you noted about actually using the second input, instead of guessing that it's not called for real.

I thank you again.
