One last thought: definitions for the third regression (will save a
complete re-run if I incorporate them now) ...

Do you want to think about providing the definitions of the relevant
average slopes, their variances, and any potentially useful
covariances for the third regression?

If I incorporate them now, I can avoid an additional re-run on the
data and you will have the relevant summary data for all three
regressions.

It's up to you, I don't mind doing the extra re-run if you want to
take things one step at a time ...

The problematic regression is actually ln(c) on ( ln(u), ln(u^2) ),
not c on (u, u^2)
