here is the wordproblemma:
one has cartesian (fermatian) or trilinear,
cylindrical or bilinear,
spherical or unilinearcoordinates; or,
they can be known as nonpolar, unipolar & bipolar;
so, what is tripolar or "nonlinear" coordination?
