I don't get it. Michelle Rhee was chancellor of the DC public schools for four years. Adell Cothorne came in towards the end of Rhee's tenure. If Cothorne is a hero, and there are other people in charge, why is Cothorne still running a cupcake shop in Maryland? Why has she not been brought back to DC a conquering hero? Why was she not hired back by her old school district in Maryland? Especially since Cothorne damages the reputation of Michelle Rhee, much hated by the Education Mafia.
I remind you that I am no fan of Michelle Rhee, but how is she responsible for the reprehensible actions of the people currently in charge? Either Cothorne is not the hero you want her to be, or the Education Mafia are not the good guys you claim they are.
