Go for 64-bit version. 1. Download and install Microsoft .Net Framework 4.5(dotNetFx45_Full_setup.exe) [ignore if you already have] 2. Uninstall Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 (both x64 and x86) from control panel. 3. Download and install Windows SDK 7.1(GRMSDKX_EN_DVD.iso) [It is the compiler.] It will restore Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 on ur pc. Steps 1 & 2 are necessary for 3. 4. Run Matlab as administrator and type: mex -setup Follow steps to set SDK as your default compiler. 5.Download matlab plugin of photoshop from http://download.adobe.com/pub/adobe/photoshop/win/13.x/Win_MATLAB_Plug-In.zip 6.Create a folder named MATLAB at C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS6 (64 Bit)\ and transfer the contents of MATLAB_Win64 into it. 7. Create a folder MATLAB at C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS6 (64 Bit)\ and transfer the contents of MATLAB_Win32 into it. 8. Run Matlab as ADMINISTRATOR and Set matlab path to MATLAB folder of step 5 according to the pdf. 9. Follow other steps of pdf.
When it comes to run tests: 1. Start Matlab as an ADMINISTRATOR. Don't start photoshop urself. It has to be launched from within matlab 2. type pslaunch. Wait till photoshop starts. 3. type testall 4. All tests should be successful without error.
