H(s) is the laplace transform of the output over the laplace
transform of the input.

Hence H=Y/X

So Y= H * X

so just need to find the laplace transform of your x(t) and this
gives you the laplace of your Y. Now inverse laplace Y to find y(t)

EDU>> Hs=1000/(1000+s);
EDU>> Y=Hs*laplace(cos(1000*t));
EDU>> y=ilaplace(Y,t)

y =

cos(1000*t)/2 - exp(-1000*t)/2 + sin(1000*t)/2
