Well, your statement leaves me with a paradox. To people who do things well, the things they do are not hard. They only appear hard to people who cannot do those things well. In fact, part of doing anything well is making it look easy. If I were to say that parenting is hard (for me), then I would be saying that I am not very good at doing it.

I would reword your statement as: Generally speaking, when someone says that something isn't hard, they are either good at it or they have never done it before.
