Hi,
As I understand, you have 19 images (3+16) in a cell. You can show (or save or whatever) the first three ones like this:

for i=1:3
figure;
current_image=mat2gray(y{1,2,i})
imshow(current_image);
end;

and the rest of 16 images:

for i=1:16
figure;
current_image=mat2gray(y{1,3,i})
imshow(current_image);
end;
