If I ask myself why Virgil has been correcting matters of fact (with embellishments) it is not because he thinks WM is correctable. It is because rhetoric can actually confuse people into thinking that WM has valid points.
Besides, "wonkish" is my specialty.

My city is full of "for-profit" universities that do a great deal of advertising and very little teaching.
The U.S. government is finally considering looking into their practices more closely because of the apparent problems of student debt and inadequate instruction.
My country would have to be one of those crazy countries.
