Why are you using Excel, and not graphing calculators, which would make these explorations (tables and graphs) much easier?
And, where do you provide the underlying understanding the "rule" via comparison of respective rates of change for the two functions forming the fraction (and their derivatives). Unless you do this as well, it becomes a "gee-whiz" activity... Jerry Johnson
