Minkowski had a whole bunch of other stuff, though, including a lot of "Nd" stuff, which is all under the general heading of configuration or phasespaces, many of which do not use time as the typical "phaseangle" for the cyclic permutations (omega is frequency etc.); cf., "time is not a dimension," or it is the *only* dimension* whereby dimensionality is actually percieved (instramentally e.g.).
