I'm sorry to interrupt an interesting discussion, but I would rather not
unsubscribe to this list.
This topic and discussion, though interesting and informative on education
broadly, seems to be outside or at least far from the center of the
definition of this list:
"A discussion on all topics *relating to mathematics education*."

I find almost nothing in this discussion relating specifically to *mathematics
education.* It could be addressed just as well to a list for English,
sociology, chemistry, or art educators.

As a long time subscriber, I would appreciate it if users of the list would
send messages related to the list's definition.
