Ok, so I am thinking of a picture involving a sine wave and an ellipse. Shouldn't it answer your original problem as well? If not, why not? What did I do wrong when I thunk up my picture? Should it be sin(ex) and should the major axis of the ellipse over its minor axis equal pi Will that help? Or is it still wrong? Tell me Joe, this visual thinking (that I likened to psychics), how does it work??????
