hint: use one of the 3d pythagorean theorems; also,
may be it *was* the medical Hippocrates,
who found the Lunes Proof; was it?

also, the 13 books of Euclid are horribly encyclopedic;
one can easily begin with -- a bit of maturity --
the 14th book, by Hypsicles,
which is just solid geometry;
beautifully elementary theorems
