And generally the wiser choice in most cases is to not use "evil eval"
at all...this just showed up in cs-sm w/ original question so no way to
know if is a real need or not but most times it's something like a new
user trying to "poof" variables into the workspace instead of using
dynamic structure names or cell array indexing or even just subarrays.
