So why did the physicists of early 1900s and later on, never realize that the Coulomb law is opposed by the Lenz law of Maxwell Equations? Why that come about? Why did Bohr ignore that fact, for he certainly had heard of Lenz's law? Well I think the answer is clear to mathematicians. The Maxwell Equations from 1862 onwards were the most difficult mathematics the physicist had ever encountered and that not a single physicist from Maxwell to 2013 was expert enough in those equations. If you are not competent and skilled in a group of 4 Equations, you will dismiss them rather than understand and use them. So that by 1913, Bohr had dismissed the Maxwell Equations and consigned them as "classical physics" when he should have realized that Lenz's law is his Bohr Atom, with not just word principles, but actual physical mechanisms.

And Dirac was not an expert or master of the Maxwell Equations, for if he were, then instead of hunting around in the dark for a relativistic Schrodinger Equation, all Dirac needed to do was add together 2 of the Maxwell Equations to get the Schrodinger Equation and then add up all 4 Maxwell Equations and end up with his Dirac Equation plus more.

So if the physicists of the 20th century had a single one of them that mastered the Maxwell Equations, we could have bypassed the buffoonery of the Quantum Mechanics. If Maxwell himself had lived into the 20th century, he would have grabbed hold of the reins of physics to enter the Maxwell Hydrogen Atom based upon Lenz's law opposing Coulomb law, and we would have skipped that buffoonery of the Bohr Atom with its attendant silliness of Quantum Mechanics.

There should have been some mathematicians in the 20th century who could have seen that the negative sign in Faraday law meant the electron cannot spiral into the nucleus. But apparently there was no-one in the 20th century at all, whether in physics or in mathematics, had a expert handle on the Maxwell Equations. Even I myself, was a acceptor and believer of Quantum Mechanics until 2011 with this 5th edition of this book and where I finally woke up about the Maxwell Equations and realized that they replace Quantum Mechanics.

Now one must laugh at the Old Physics of Quantum Mechanics, in which they were too silly and dumb to see that the Maxwell Equations provided all the Mechanisms, the inner workings of how Nature operates, whereas the Quantum Mechanics just lists a large list of principles that have no inner mechanism.

Where Bohr placed his Quantum Mechanics on pinnacle and frowned down upon Maxwell Equations, whereas true physics is the other way around, that the Maxwell Equations are the pinnacle and Quantum Mechanics is a mere putting into words called principles that scratch the surface of the underlying Maxwell theory.

Bohr's next task was to derive an expression for the Rydberg constant R in terms of known quantities. He did this by invoking the correspondence principle, which states: Quantum theory must agree with classical theory in the limit in which classical theory is known to agree with experiment.

One has to laugh at the above, because Bohr got it turned around and upside down. It is that Maxwell Theory is true physics and Quantum Mechanics is just a list of principles that are derived out of the Maxwell Equations.

One only needs to see that the Bohr atom of 1913 is actually a Lenz's law that counterbalances the Coulomb law. That the Strong Nuclear Force is none other than the Maxwell Equations at a short distance for nuclear electrons versus protons. Every principle of Quantum Mechanics that was dreamed up in the 20th century are silly word statements that when the Maxwell Equations are applied, they are derived purely and completely out of the 4 Maxwell Equations.

The only real big question was why were the 20th century physicists and the 2000 to 2013 physicists so much dunces of physics that they failed to spot and see the central importance of the Maxwell Equations.

I have a good guess as to the reason. The Maxwell Equations are not easy equations. Even mathematicians have difficulty in understanding them. Even Dirac had not mastered the Maxwell Equations. And Dirac was the best mathematical physicist of the 20th century.

So when you have a situation in which the most difficult mathematics in all of physics is the Maxwell Equations, then you are likely to build a superficial house of cards of Quantum Mechanics that comes tumbling down and becomes superficial markers of the Maxwell Equations. When you cannot do the Maxwell Equations well, you do superficial things like Uncertainty Principle or Pauli Exclusion Principle or Quantum Tunneling or Superfluidity or Double Slit.
