Hi all-
I've found this forum a great resource through the years teaching! Thank you !

However as the beginning of the school year nears, I too, am getting nervous to implement the CCSS. I am not sure if our school will be following or modifying the modules. It seems like many students (and teachers) will be discouraged early on if we follow the modules as they are so probably leaning towards modifying them and rearranging the sequence. I wish we had all the modules (and a sample exam) before the year started :(

Does anyone have a modified curriculum that they are willing to share so I can get an idea of how your schools will be approaching this coming year? Or are most schools just adopting the modules and not adapting them. We've always followed the AMAPS curriculum so was hoping something would be put out by them but haven't seen anything.

I teach in NYC and saw a sample Algebra 1 performance assessment that will serve as the baseline for the MOSL. Based on my past students as well as the scores from the 8th grade, I'm very nervous for this year. It seems like the transition is not going to be smooth for anyone involved!

Thanks so much in advance,
Nicole Cinque
