You accept? I guess that is some progress. Until you said ?folk? and ?far too much of it?. I didn?t follow it further, but did Backus ever get over the rift?
And why do you say ?that is all I see?? I think I have been as formal in these discussions as I have been artistic.
I have always been more motivated to ask ?Why are things the way they are?? before asking ?What if things could be some other way?? I find that to be a much better formula, in many things, and I highly recommend it. Maybe that is what it means to be a realist.
