But that?s religion, right?

> Saying "that's just the way it is" is a pure cop out. You might as well says "its an impenetrable mystery". Some poeple's view of God is that God is the ultimate impenetrable mystery that stands at the center of the mystery of existence. Nothing new here. You can deny that's your meaning but a rose is a rose etc.

Whoa! How did I cop out? I am differentiating religion and science, that is all. Science doesn?t need religion. And religion doesn?t need science. There, we cracked the riddle. Like I said, we make a good team. I know, that isn?t what you wanted. You like to post other people?s work and then limit the discussion to how it makes us feel. Some advice - go join a book club.

> That's what you are missing, but its also obvious your brain shuts down at the very question that Davies is talking about. Its no wonder you think "there's nothing there" or accuse him of "pivoting" or whatever. Its a very unthinking response.

Why do you say my brain is shutting down? It went wide open when you posted your link. And your attitude right now is, ironically, becoming very religious. You are upset because I attacked your deity. Actually, you are upset because of the book club notion above. You aren?t interested in science, you are interested in how science makes you feel. And it upsets you when people don?t share that take on science. Another riddle cracked. How is that for wide open? Maybe Lou has an SAT word for that kind of science. Sure would be handy right now. All I got is Book Club Science.

Between you and Kirby, I feel like I am playing pound-a-mole. I am learning a lot, but geez, I don?t feel too good about it only going one way like this. But hey, you two aren?t complaining, so I guess it?s all cool, right?

When you post what others have written, and I don?t care if they have 15 doctorates behind their name, I am going to go right at the logic and reasoning behind their premise, every time. Like a bull dog. I am really not the right person for a discussion about how it makes you feel.
