I can see how the glass filling exercise could lead to interesting discussion of the relevant math and training of one's analytical skills. For example, supposing the first given flask shape, suppose the transition from sloped to straight up and down sides is perfectly sharp: what does the height/time graph reflect precisely at that point?
But, *that* discussion or anything similar is not found on the blog at all. Is it simply to be assumed everyone can handle *that* discussion perfectly well?
