On the contrary, Cantor, and others, do not claim the need for existence of things which do not exist, only WM does that.
Outside of WM's wild weird world of WMytheology it is easily shown that there must be more real numbers than there can be individual definitions for them, so that most of them must be without any such individual definitions, even though every real interval of strictly positive length must contain uncountably many of them. --
