However, I repeat:
(It) is emphatically not true that you had 'caught it', (in the way that you are claiming). You had not 'caught it'. It was NOT something to be 'blamed on the spell checker' (as you are now doing). No existing spell checker would have caught this particular error, in any case.
Maybe such specious and evasive reasoning on your part - too often used by you in too many of your arguments - is the reason why some (/many) people find you to be 'a funny guy'.
As to whether you are a liar, let the evidence speak for itself.
There is NO spell checker in the world that would have discovered that you meant "pique my curiosity" when you wrote to Richard Strausz to the effect that "You are really starting to peak my curiosity as to how you are able to do this" - but you want to put the blame on the spell checker!!! (Before computers and spell checkers and stuff like that, I believe some people used to claim things like: "The cat did it").
Though times and tools have changed hugely, the great US writer Mark Twain had said/written something most appropriate in this kind of context: "The best reason for telling the truth is that you don't have to remember ANYTHING!" (words to that effect).
