Hold on, reread what I wrote. I am not saying that there are not *technically* other options, but if the culture is such that the parents persuade/coerce/force their children to choose from only a few options, then *in reality* they have only a few options. As I said, team India relayed this to me, several times. In fact, we were talking about it just last week. You said that things have started to change very recently. That may very well be the case. I was going to bring it up this week at work.
