"So, in an attempt to clarify if possible, I repeat: "We in India are also thus, perhaps much more, afflicted)". This is probably an outcome of our mental bondage to the British over a couple of centuries or longer. It may be useful to understand (if such understanding is at all possible by such as you) that, when the British first came to India (to 'trade'), India was reckoned to be one of the richest countries (collection of kingdoms) in the world. It is believed that as much as 20% or more of the world's gross national product of the world originated from India. (Why else, after all, did the Brit [and US traders; and others] come here to 'trade'? They surely weren't here out of the 'goodness of their hearts'). When the Brits finally left, India was the 'basket case' of th e world. "
We too were "afflicted" by the British Empire, for longer than India was. When we got here there was nothing, and right after the British Empire tried to impose trinitarianism on us, we kicked them out and performed BETTER than Britain and India combined. Within a century and a half, the British came to us hat in hand to save them from the nasty German Empire. Since we never did take over India, you can't blame your woes on us (and in fact India has continued to implode ever since the British left).
Canada and Australia, who also started from nothing, are STILL "afflicted" by the British Empire, and now they're doing much better than us, in per capita income, test scores, personal savings rate, and much lower crime and divorce and incarceration rates.
SO if it's at all possible that "20% or more of the world's gross national product of the world originated from India", HOW did the nasty British manage to steal it all from a population which has Indians like you with an IQ of 173? Why is your biggest export poverty, and why are there even more people living under poverty in India than in all of Africa, while there are NONE in the US and China and England and Canada and Australia?
