"I'm sure I'm far less intelligent than is Mr. Barack Obama - though I'd probably do considerably better on any math test than he would. He had confessed, somewhat shame-facedly as I recall, that he was rather poor at math when he was at school. I was outstandingly good at math through most of my school career, right through my engineering studies, and then right through my graduate school studies in the USA (specialising in math). "
There are many things you've written which demonstrate that you know nothing about IQ tests, much less math, but this one takes the cake.
You don't have a clue that IQ tests serve a very limited function. The fact that they correlate closely to math scores actually doesn't prove that it takes a high IQ TO DO well at math. And that's because many IQ tests (LIke Wechsler) are designed to remove some of the most important critical thinking skills in order to obscure sex and race gaps. There's even less Correlation between IQ tests and verbal test scores, which means that we have statistical PROOF that people with low IQ's can have good verbal skills, or vice versa.
But your most revealing statement so far is "I'm far less intelligent than is Mr. Barack Obama" because you have literally ZERO statistical evidence to back up that statement. How could you not understand that, especially if you DID have "graduate school studies in the USA (specialising in math)"?
There's no doubt that English skills of Indians are so low that you too might perform lower than African Americans on verbal tests. But that proves literally nothing about your relative IQ or math skills.
You don't even know what Obama's grades were, much less what his IQ is, much less how well he knows math.
And certainly you've researched this exhaustively by now and would have posted it months ago IF it backed up your, er, 'opinion'?
